In this piece, I investigate identity through the power of absence. The work area is divided into horizontal bands—each assigned one selected colour. Within each band, a grid of vertical line segments fills the space, but a deliberately defined circular region is left void. This negative space, emerging from an intentional subtraction of line work, acts as a silhouette of the hidden self. The contrast between the densely drawn lines and the untouched void evokes the idea that what is not written is as meaningful as what is visible.
